Edward R. Laskowski, M.D.: The bent-more than row is an exercising you can do with dumbbells to function the muscle groups in the back of the shoulder. The bent-more than row targets the posterior aspect of the deltoid in the shoulder. Which is important, simply because quite a few people today aim on the muscle groups at the entrance of the shoulder. What you truly want is stability in the shoulder muscle groups.

Nicole L. Campbell: To do the bent-more than row with a dumbbell, hold a dumbbell in your hand and stand with your feet easily apart. For most people today, this is about shoulder-width apart. Tighten your stomach muscle groups. Bend your knees and lean ahead at the hips, keeping your backbone good and straight. Allow your arms hold straight beneath your shoulders and slowly but surely elevate the fat until your elbow traces up just beneath your shoulder and parallel with your backbone. Then slowly but surely lower the fat to the starting posture. You’ll come to feel pressure in the back of your shoulder and the muscle groups across your upper back.

When doing the bent-more than row, do not enable your shoulder to roll ahead.

For most people today, 1 established of twelve to 15 repetitions is ample.

Remember, for ideal success, do not enable your shoulder to roll ahead through the exercising. Keep your shoulder as stationary as attainable, keeping your backbone neutral, your stomach muscle groups limited, and your actions easy and managed.
