The Nationwide Library of Medicine (NLM), a chief in research in biomedical informatics and information science, and the world’s biggest biomedical library, is pleased to announce our 2021-2022 course of Affiliate Fellows.
The Affiliate Fellowship Method will start out in September and offer a robust academic and management expertise ranging from official lectures and shows to projects in operations, research and development, plan, and information investigation, all inside of the context of the position of a nationwide library on the nationwide and global phase. The 2021-2022 fellowship yr will be done remotely.

Luke Kudryashov gained his MSI from the University of Michigan in Might 2021. When completing his degree, Luke worked as an accessibility expert and UX assistant at the HathiTrust Digital Library and as a Rackham Public Engagement Fellow at Michigan Publishing. Luke also created a COVID-19 misinformation taxonomy for an internship with Tattle Civic Technologies and Microsoft Investigation India, done consumer research for the Metropolis of Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation, and served as a graduate pupil instructor for classes in the Women’s Research Department and the English Department Writing Method at UM. Luke also served on a number of advisory boards at UM, such as the Provost’s Inclusion Diversity Equity and Accessibility (Idea) Board and the University student Life Diversity Equity and Inclusion University student Advisory Board (DEI-SAB), and has gained awards for his service and advocacy from the Place of work of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and the Council for Incapacity Issues. Also, Luke holds a BA in English and Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Research from the University of Pennsylvania and an MA in English Language and Literature from the University of Michigan.
Simone Stone gained her MLIS from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Might 2021. As an MSLIS pupil, Simone worked as a graduate assistant at the undergraduate library where she done several jobs such as primary instruction classes and co-chairing the Convey Your Personal E-book Club application. Also, Stone served as an iSchool Ambassador and instructing assistant for the Place of work of Undergraduate Investigation. She was vice president of the iSchool Learners of Coloration. Simone gained her BA in Film and Media Research and Geography from Dartmouth College and a MFA from Chapman University.
Frank Vitale gained his MLIS from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2021. When completing the degree, Frank worked on doc digitization and engineering modernization projects at a Fortune five hundred coverage company. He is intently affiliated with the Carlisle Indian University Digital Source Centre at Dickinson College and published research on each the heritage of medicine and the electronic humanities. Also, Frank holds a BA in Record from Dickinson College and an MSc in the Record of Science, Medicine, and Technology from the University of Oxford.
Sam Kennefick Wilairat gained her MLIS from San Jose Condition University in Might 2021. When obtaining the degree, Sam worked as a graduate assistant at the Strauss Health Sciences Library on the University of Colorado Anschutz Health care Campus. At the Strauss Library, she taught library lessons, done research consultations with nursing students, provided reference solutions, and worked on research projects. Sam was also a Frictionless Info for Reproducible Investigation Fellow at the Open up Understanding Foundation from 2020 to 2021. At the Open up Understanding Foundation, she acquired to use resources that assist Open up Science ideas. Sam holds a BS in Biology from Gonzaga University and a MA in Educating from the University of Portland.
