Serves eight

  1. one little bunch beets, or plenty of canned beets (no salt included) to make 3 cups, drained
  2. one/4 cup red wine vinegar
  3. 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  4. one tablespoon olive oil
  5. one tablespoon drinking water
  6. eight cups new salad greens
  7. one/4 cup chopped apple
  8. one/4 cup chopped celery
  9. Freshly ground pepper
  10. 3 tablespoons chopped walnuts
  11. one/4 cup gorgonzola cheese, crumbled


Steam uncooked beets in drinking water in saucepan right until tender. Slip off skins. Rinse to amazing. Slice in one/two-inch rounds. In a medium bowl, toss with red wine vinegar.

In a big bowl, merge balsamic vinegar, olive oil and drinking water. Add salad greens and toss.

Place greens on to person salad plates. Leading with sliced beets, and chopped apples and celery. Sprinkle with pepper, walnuts and cheese. Provide straight away.
